Mariya Stokes
If Kacey Musgraves and Meghan Trainor had a country-soul love-child, the result would be Calgary, Canada-based country artist Mariya Stokes. Country Music Alberta’s two-time reigning Horizon Female Artist of the Year (2019 & 2020) has four single releases under her belt and is currently recording her debut EP.

Canmore, Ab based singer/ songwriter Mike Petroff shares his stories and observations of life through songs. His album 1000 Storms delivers and captures the essence of his craft. Mike Szabo
Singer songwriter Mike Szabo, from Red Deer, Alberta, honed his craft in backyards for the better part of 50 years before he finally decided to get on a stage. Now, with two albums, several videos and about 80 new songs, he is living his dream, playing to live music venues around Alberta where his songs go deep and connect easily to folks young and old.

Reid & Writes
A trio of seasoned musicians that plays original songs along with tasty covers. Music is heart-felt, melodic, rhythmic and dynamic. Various styles make each song unique. Lyrics drawn from personal experience and Alberta landscapes convey universal themes.
Night Howl
Night Howl is a six-piece festival dance band from Edmonton, Alberta, with a Latin and swing flair. Their shows are energetic and dynamic with a dark and witchy festival aesthetic covered in sparkles. Inspired by bands such as Souljazz Orchestra, Squirrel Nut Zippers, and Buena Vista Social Club, their music aims to captivate audiences and fill dance floors.
Talking Dog
Talking Dog is a Calgary band that performs a mix of originals and covers from reggae to Radiohead, Prince to punk - any genre or artist is fair game.
The Pannettones
After forming in 2022, The Pannettones have been steadily building a repertoire of cover songs pulling from multiple genres across rock, pop and folk. Added to this are original compositions from the band members themselves. All songs are arranged to focus on sharing the joy of performing and showcasing the beauty of three part vocal harmony, with smooth, uncomplicated acoustic instrumental accompaniment.
The Sadlier-Brown Band
The Sadlier-Brown band likes to mix original songs with obscure vintage songs to give you a creative show. The band’s music mostly ranges from the era of the 50’s and into the 60’s. All of their music is played with an infectious solid rhythm that encourages dancing. The look and style of the band is vintage. This includes clothes and instruments dating from the early time of country and rockabilly jive music.
The Thunderskirts
Four girls who needed something to do during the pandemic. So they got together and plunked away on their ukuleles. That led to a performance at the Drumheller Plaza and from there they just kept on playing and adding to their repertoire.
The Wayfaring Fiddlers
The Wayfaring Fiddlers is a Drumheller-based group that has been playing in the area for over twenty years. Building on their roots in traditional fiddle tunes the band has developed a style all their own, encompassing blues, country folk, and even some rock influences. With the recent addition of two new members, harmonies, sometimes reaching epic proportions, are built into the music, which will lift you up and carry you to new heights of sonic bliss.
County 23
County 23 puts the ‘Out’ in Outlaw! A bit Bluegrass, a bit old Country, and a smidge of Punk. Mix it up and you get County 23‘s unique take sound and perspective on small town prairie’s life and the characters who make it unique!

Brian Pearson
An author, songwriter, and podcaster, he left his day job to pursue these other passions. His original songs range from blues to folk to rockabilly and can be sampled on his eclectic album, Let the Dogs Run Free. At ease on stage, a natural storyteller, he invites his audience into a musical world of strong characters and soulful reflections.
Tim Gareau
A Storyteller at heart, Calgary hometown lad singer/songwriter Tim Gareau cares deeply for his audience and is compelled to share his musical gifting wherever and whenever the opportunity presents itself. Tim’s latest release “Great Late Bloomer” has become a fast favourite with his friends and followers.
Toni Vere
This prolific Calgary based singer/songwriters music has been described as “folk stumbling into country” with echoes of mountains and prairies in her songs. Stories weave the way through truths, unfolding the layers of life. Over the years, Toni has performed across Canada.
Different Rich
Some people get their joy from the cash they have amassed. We find our center when we connect to others through music. That makes us Different Rich. Our influences are wide, but many seem to feel we could be called folk rock. Most of our songs are written and sung by Eamon Kelly.
Glen Brown and Headin’ West
Glen Brown and Headin’ West – They stick to the routes of their raisin’ and play traditional roots country music with a Texas Flare. The musicians are all extremely talented players and have been sidemen for several recording professionals on tour throughout Canada.
The Garage Band
The Garage Band - is a group of experienced Drumheller musicians who have been working together for the past several years. We practiced in one member’s garage - hence the name. Each person brings something slightly different to the table, resulting in a fairly eclectic mix of songs within the county to classic rock genres.
Red Head Mack Band
Kevin Phillips and Lee Carlson are half of Calgary rock band, Redhead Mack Band. This will be a stripped down acoustic show…. but will it still rock? Oh yes! Stories? Silliness? Most certainly! See you there!
Derailleur
Upstanding citizens by day… Rock and Roll heroes by night! Sans the capes. Constantly changing musical gears, switching the levers from Rock to Punk… Uphill to Country … downshifting to Funk and Disco, into the home stretch with Alternative and Jazz.
Tannis Root
This is a brand new band, and this will be a first show. Currently a three-piece, it rises from the ashes of former Calgary bands The Wicked, Red Hot Lovers, The Daggers, and many more. Older, and a little bit slower, we have added an excellent female vocalist from Ukraine. It’s cool!

The Barrel Dogs
We do classic 70‘s inspired originals and cover tunes. Featuring two keyboardists, bass, guitar and drums, ’The Barrel Dogs‘ are back at SpringFest with a ’vocals and harmony layered’ set that always fills the dance floor.
Robert Burton Hubele
Robert’s music is an eclectic mix of blues, jazz, country and world songs, with great stories and a wry sense of humour. His songs have appeared on movie and television soundtracks. He has been a guest performer on numerous television and radio shows.
Flowshine
Flowshine has spent the last decade carving their own path a little left of centre. Their love of adventure, experience, and bringing people together with music has taken them from their home in Calgary to oft overlooked corners of the country.
The Pan feat. Dr. Chip Percussion
The Pan is musician Pan Sciore, playing a variety of instruments from guitar, bass, keys, percussion, and vocals. Accompaniment on percussion is from Dr. Charles (Chip) Scialfa. Both Pan and Charles have been musically associated with the Alberta Liquor Birds band (currently on hiatus).
Magnolia Buckskin
Kathy Cook, Natasha Sayer and Corry Ulan are all about backing each other up! The three songwriters take turns singing lead with the others adding sweet harmonies and tasteful instrumentation. Roots, folk, blues and rock styles blend together into a sound that is uniquely Mag Buck.

The Garage Band
The Garage Band is an eclectic group of local area musicians, each with differing musical tastes, but some how we make it work by mixing them all together, stir, and voila. For a menu of mostly classic rock, with some country rock thrown in, a pinch of blues, and a sprinkle pop rock.
The Bungalows
With the powerful pipes of Linda Buckner fronting the band, we do a multi-decade mix of party music that blends classic rock, roots and pop. Add in a few originals and it‘s a ’get up up a go’ set for those who like to rock.
Carly Reirson
Winner of the 2018 YYC Music Award for "Blues Recording of the Year" for her single "Crooner Sing To Me," Carly Reirson is eager to share her music with the world. Carly released her debut EP "Fantasy" in 2016.
Hungry Hollow
Hungry Hollow is a 5 piece rock band from Edmonton AB, they formed as an idea in 2011 and became a reality in 2013 when lead singer and guitar player Ian Dick, met his now wife Julie and formed a fully functioning rock band.
The Corazones
The Corazones are a versatile roots-rock band based in Calgary Alberta. They write songs about small towns, love, loneliness, and coffee. The Corazones love 60‘s funk, 70’s folk, Canadiana and all the noise in between. They want to invite you to dance.

Natalie Inga‘s feisty Folk music features playful melodies sung over unique and colourful guitar stylings. True to the Folk genre’s rich tradition of challenging the status quo, Natalie draws from songwriting inspirations like Joni Mitchell, Ani DiFranco, and Sara Bareilles.
KP Smith
KP Smith blends honest, melancholy lyrics with plucky guitar and a playful energy. They have integrated their music into theatre productions through collective songwriting and original compositions, while exploring thematic song creation and finding joy in live performance with heart, honesty, and a folk/indie sound.

The Thunderskirts
Carol Todor started playing ukulele when her hubby bought her a ukulele for her 65th Birthday. It quickly became a retirement passion. She put the question out on Facebook and found there was a demand ukulele players in Drumheller. Thunderskirts were born from a pandemic bubble.
The Waltzing Matildas
The Waltzing Matildas play a lively swing style of mostly 30‘s and 40’s tunes with heaps of comedy worked into our act. Our music is driven by strong vocal harmony and hard swinging rhythms. We very much focus on the entertainment aspect of our performances and have fun doing it.
Shane Larmand
Shane is an Alberta-based Indie-Folk artist with an Americana sound. This campfire tapestry of crackling wood, wire and crooning calls is the new Albertan essential indie listening experience, featuring shadowy blue songs of prairie anxiety and mountain love.
Cathie Brown
Cathie Brown is a vocal artist and stage performer with a background in musical theatre from Drumheller. She now sings and plays pop music in a solo act.
deadbeat boyfriend
“deadbeat boyfriend” is the recording and performance vehicle for Canadian singer/songwriter & acoustic guitarist Gary J. Ruta. In the tradition of a storyteller, his original songs include strong lyrical & musical hooks, and cover an eclectic range of styles, including Folk, Pop, Blues/Rock, Country & Reggae.
Reid & Writes
Reid grew up in Edmonton and Lethbridge and played bass in folk-rock band A Tear and a Smile. After teaching high school English for 42 years, he is happy to be back to his first love, playing original folk music with his friends Bruce and Jason.
