When I grow up. . . I want to be…

For many young children the dream was to become a coal miner.
Come hear the stories of our community, from its humble beginnings in 1929.

Here’s to the museum!  Helping to keep the past alive. Proudly telling these stories!

If the floors could talk. . . What stories they could tell!!

Open Daily 10 am – 6 pm until September!

The 1936 Classroom is just one of the many rooms to explore.  See the daily schedule of the students in Grade 5!  Read about the life of an early Teacher!

Be surprised by the rules for teachers. No Loitering in ice cream parlors! Home before 8pm.

But Wait. . . 96 year old floors do talk. . . stop by to hear them chatter and creak!
